Hyperlapse of Bruxelles 🇧🇪
How to do it;
1. Continuous Subject: Pick a clear subject (a building) and ensure it stays visible for the entire walk.
2. The Anchor Point: Choose one tiny detail, best in the middle on that subject (like a window corner) to be your "crosshair" for every shot.
3. Grid Lock: Turn on your camera’s 3x3 grid and crosshair. Keep your anchor point exactly on a specific grid intersection in every frame.
4. Full Manual Mode: Lock your Focus, ISO, Shutter, and White Balance. This prevents “flickering” or focus-hunting.
5. Consistent Steps: Take one small, equal step between every photo. Use floor tiles or sidewalk cracks as markers for steady speed.
6. Steady Frame: Hold the camera close to your body or pull the neck strap tight to minimize hand-shake.
7. Quantity Matters: Aim for at least 120-200+ photos per hyperlapse. This gives you enough "meat" for a smooth 8-10 second clip.
8. Stabilizing Boxes: In After Effects, use "Stabilize Motion” with the position & rotation tracking boxes.
9. Warp Stabilizer: After the boxes, Pre-compose the layer and add Warp Stabilizer (set to 5-10%) to smooth out any remaining tilt.
10. Scale & Crop and maybe “speedramp” it?
That should give you a smooth, handheld hyperlapse ENJOY :)

Ich habe sehr lange überlegt, welche gemeinnützige Organisation ich mit meinem Projekt unterstützen möchte.
Nach längerem überlegen, kam mir in den Sinn, dass ich im Jahr 2021 Stefan Rüdlinger kennengelernt habe.
Wir waren beide beim gleichen Arbeitgeber temporär als Schreiner am arbeiten und ich wusste das er das Hilfsprojekt an Schulen in Sansibar bereits hatte.
Deshalb zögerte ich nicht und nahm direkt Kontakt auf, den Rest seht ihr jetzt hier.

I spent a long time considering which non-profit organization I wanted to support with my project.
After much deliberation, it occurred to me that I had met Stefan Rüdlinger in 2021.
We were both working temporarily as joiners for the same employer, and I knew he already had an aid project at schools in Zanzibar.
